About the Event
Get those hands dirty rolling sunflower seed balls: just throw and watch grow! Sunflowers love summer, and native bees love sunflowers! Seed balls are a fun way to add some bee-friendly forage to your garden: the clay shell protects the seeds, allowing them to germinate over time as they are gradually exposed to sunlight and moisture (and it encourages patience in the process). This is an easy (but messy) activity for little or big hands. This workshop should provide each participant with enough seed bombs to keep some for your own garden and also to gift some (calico bag and gift label provided) as a nice handmade gift.
